Watchlist & Bans
Panther Den uses DCSServerBot and is powered by DGSA (DCS Global Server Admins). DGSA maintains shared DCS and Discord banlists for cheaters, hackers, ban evaders, and disruptive players. DCSServerBot connects to these lists to automatically flag or restrict users based on server settings, including optional watchlist mode for admin review. This system enables consistent cross-server enforcement while keeping final control with server administrators.
Watchlist
Section titled “Watchlist”Panther Den is a public server and community. We expect all players to maintain good conduct, teamwork, and basic radio discipline on CTAF/TAC. Behavior such as rudeness, trolling, lack of teamwork, intentional kill-stealing, friendly fire, or failing to communicate may result in placement on a staff watchlist. This is an internal moderation tool used to identify players who are not yet breaking explicit rules but are consistently disruptive or negatively impacting gameplay.
Players on the watchlist are not notified, and activity may be actively monitored when joining the server. Continued poor behavior, especially after staff warnings, can result in a ban. This system exists because of the scale of our community and the need to effectively track disruptive behavior across thousands of players. Without it, moderation would not be feasible. If you experience issues with another player, please report it to staff or a moderator so it can be reviewed and addressed appropriately.
The DGSA ban system used by DGSABot is a centralized global blacklist shared across participating DCS communities and Discord servers. Players can be banned for serious misconduct such as cheating, harassment, or repeated disruptive behavior, and once added to the DGSA global list they are automatically denied access to any server running the system. There are effectively two coordinated ban lists—one for in-game DCS bans and one for Discord bans—and the bot syncs these lists so that when a user is globally banned they are also automatically banned locally in your server, and if they are later removed from the global list, they are unbanned as well (unless your community issued its own manual ban, which overrides the system).
